I definitely agree that LMA is better. I wouldn't even know what reverb nation was if it wasn't for my friends telling me to check out their page.

I'd have to ask them why they went that route but my guess is that they just don't have anyone recording them live right now. If they did I'm sure they'd want to be on LMA. They'd definitely have more fans if they did; their album is pretty good but it doesn't do their live shows justice.

Hell, if I had the equipment I'd do it for them.

"...my guess is that they just don't have anyone recording them live right now. If they did I'm sure they'd want to be on LMA"

That was my point to the record store-owning businessman. He is also into promoting local bands and providing a venue for live music (in the back of his store). He was telling me how he 'wants to hit a homerun' with 'big shows' in the business. I was telling him it is approachable by creating projects and getting himself on the map.

I was trying to remind him about the positive-feedback effects that tapers would bring to the table, and how best to integrate that social networking buzz online.

We both agreed that Colorado is home base to several of the best live music bands, and several of the best live music venues that are out there. These bands and these venues puts lots of hard work into their respective selves over the years, and it shows.

In the case of Fort Collins, it's true: we have a huge amount of live music, many bands performing, many venues, and many musicians. I still can't understand why this businessman, and so many bands on Reverb Nation, don't appear to 'get it'.
